class reunion again!
haiz. dunno why it always ends up that i end up organising… -_- i wish other pple would take the initiative too… and don’t just bug me to do something.
anyway, today’s reunion only involved 9 pple (wayne lost his mobiles, yes, plural, in some sort of extremely freakish accident and couldn’t contact us about the reunion while ant went to get so dead drunk he couldn’t wake up… aiyoooo). but then it was really good cuz we managed to contact those who couldn’t make it for the previous reunion… such as kiwi, yvonne, boqiang, weiming and liyan. the others were shwuling, junwei, yimin and me lor…
and lemon still looks the same. what is his anti-aging secret formula? apparently it lies in three words: bread, fruit, milk. oh, and exercise.
having a class reunion @ lemon’s is a bit like taking an SQ flight.
1. They feed you really well… It’s like first we had drinks (and it’s not like lousy ones, we had real fruit juice! And he even got me unsweetened soya bean milk! see, such personalised ’service’) Lunch was a grand affair, where we ordered two fun-meals from pizza hut and upsized both. After lunch, lemon made sure we got our fruit. So we had this pear thingy… and I showed how lousy i was at paring fruits with a knife… he says looking at me pare with my left hand is like me trying to commit suicide clumsily. haiz…
At 2pm, lemon announced that it was time for ‘ice-cream’ and proceeded to distribute strawberry and macademia nut ice-cream from hagen daaz. cool rite?
Then at 4pm, lemon decided to stuff us with CAKE. aiyooo… exploding liao.
2. There’s inflight entertainment. Yeah, we enjoyed his superbly huge widescreen plasma tv. wowwwww! I want something like this in my home next time! Lemon actually said he hardly watched tv, but bought this humongous one so his hall wouldn’t look too spartan. *_- We followed up with a wide selection of music projected through a stereo-surround kind of sound system in his study. I’d give almost anything to have such a tastefully done-up study like his!
3. You get an air-stewardess offering you food…
The stewardess in this case (me lor), was going around offering plates, paring fruits, serving cake, drinks and going: ‘macademia or strawberry?’ / “some juice?” / “pizza?” / “more cake?”

weiming really changed soooooo much! it’s like unbelievable haha… i still remember the time i went to wisma’s giordano to see-see a bit, try to catch sight of him. actually now that i think of it, i did see him. BUT I DIDN’T RECOGNISE HIM THEN! hahaha…

it’s interesting to meet up after people had not seen each other for like a gadzillion years… (ten years or more), and it’s down rite shocking when you hear things like… the ex-terroriser-of-gals is now hounded by gals cuz of his good looks, the very playful girl is now a prim and proper chinese teacher, the ex-shotput player cum notorious tomboy is now a feminine and gentle teacher at a special school, one of the shortest guys in class has now outgrown the gals…

(a faux pas i think)
lemon: do you all believe in fate?
LY: ya, partly i do…
EG: yes… i think so…
BQ/YM: yes, got…
YV: i believe in God’s will…
me: what is fate ah?
(silence… errrrrm… )
lemon: oh that means you don’t believe in fate!
(i’m thinking, dammit, why am i so anal? should have just said yea, or partly or just sit on the fence…)
lemon: fate is when you believe that everything is predetermined… actually that is quite dangerous… imagine if a student says, oh, if i’m fated to fail, then no matter how much i study, i’ll still fail, so why study?
me: true… but as you said, fate is predetermined by someone or something… it still is a fact that no matter whether it’s predetermined or not, we wouldn’t know what lies in front of us rite? so i think that believing or not isn’t really important…
YV: i think most important is treasuring the moment…
