HO: xx year old man involved in RTA, xray shows a comminuted proximal tibial fracture.

Head-of-dpt: what is this fracture?

MO: unstable comminuted proximal tibial fracture.

HOD: no, no what is the NAME of this fracture?

medical student (whispers>: bumper?

HOD (to other MOs): what is this fracture? don’t so cheem lah!

Reg (trying to be funny): broken bone…

second medical student (whispers): bumper fracture…

HOD: what is the mechanism?

Reg: bumper fracture!!!

another doc: ey, nowadays all saab mah… where got so low?

HOD: so we can deduce wat? this is a jap model lah!
