They’re real ok, called ammonite, basically just fossilised um.. snails? Dunno what you call’em in the dunno what era they came from. Each one has been cut into half, with the cut surfaces polished to a really high sheen.

If you ever go to any temple, like the one at bugis, and you see pple ‘lok chiam’, u know, shaking that cylinder containing various sticks, after a stick falls out, they’ll throw this pair of things on the ground to see if that ‘lot’ they’ve gotten is suitable, you’ll see the resemblance between that pair of things and those here. hahaha…
