Ooh Wenky, this ‘complements’ one of your entries…

At the SOC (specialist outpatient clinics)… It’s so crowded that patients are on almost every seat (that is not occupied by a bag), along the corridor outside the consultation rooms, next to the counter and along the corridor. SCARY!
Anyway…

Nurse: Doctor, doctor, P…. C…. (my big boss) needs an MO to run one more clinic!

MO: Oh nooo… I haven’t had a break since morning clinics! (and it’s already 315pm now) cannot lah… (he throws his head backwards, in a loud, pitiful-sounding moan…)

Nurse to me and EW (we’re so **** we can go clinics during SIP!): Eh, you two, one of you go run the clinic can!

EW: (eyes proptosed… looks down at her name tag) Er… We are… still… not even doctors leh…

Nurse: (eyes proptosed) oh.

Me: (two of us don’t even make half a HO!)

Anyway, things got so chaotic we left the clinics and went to kaypoh at the A&E instead (also to snigger at the SIP students ‘on take’)
