My style of blogging today shall be: the boring all-about-my-day post.
So first, we started the day off by kaypoh-ing with the dean’s list, and found out that… my ‘idol’ in psymed is a dean’s lister, and so is the cute sheepish doc at NCC, then, we found (just as expected), our 3-in-one MO/MOS/REG is a 4 out of 5 years dean’s lister!!!
Next, had a very ‘medical’ ward round, consisting only of the reg, HO and two non-existent SIPs!
Felt too nauseous to take any breakfast at kopi break, and AC was real nice, showering lots of TLC. Maybe she’ll get me some oral rehydration solution tmr! haha…
Today, I was just grinning into space, and then I dunno why, I started smiling really hard into space… and then for the first time, Ong (my yr 3 elective tutor) was galvanised into smiling back and actually acknowledging my presence first! (I didn’t see him actually) wow! And he even said: so you’re with us now? (Yes, for two weeks liao) me: Yes, I’m in team V!
I was pretty confident of driving from the hospital to Lavender… but somehow, I must have missed the blasted exit 7c…. it was like… 7a… 7b… 8b?!?!! Ended up at whampoa, bendemeer and then lavender, not bad lah… then there was this horrible accident or something at the ICA… some guy had to be ambulanced away… police cars and everything and I was so distraught because I could barely find space to manoeveur!!!
Finally, I had to withstand the utter humiliation of being directed to Bugis by someone who’d spent a significant no. of years abroad. Wa laoo… I can almost imagine him sniggering throughout the trip… haha…
I think I might soon start a new category that says: Dopey’s 4-wheeler adventures (documenting all the horrible accidents I’ve had, the innumberable times where I’ve gotten lost, and the still unattainable goal of parallel parking!)
