Pizza Walker, prominently located at Wisma Atria L1, looks like quite a pleasant place to dine… but I definitely would not suggest it. I highly doubt myself returning to dine there.
The menu looks beautiful, classy, and very ‘Italiano’… but the staff won’t understand you if you attempt to order in Italian. There might be a wide variety of food (mainly pizza/calzone - which is like a pizza folded into half, pasta, salad, dessert and soup) but hmmm they don’t taste that good. Not very worth the price you’re paying. A pizza averages around 12-15 bux, and a pasta, abt 15-19. And if you have to get the pizza (it’s actually quite good cuz it’s the woodgrilled type! that means it’s v thin and lighter than pizza hut’s) please tell them… MINIMAL CHEESE! Just think of the carbs! They simply drown your pizza in parmesean and mozzarella!!!
There’s a fair bit of waiting time but still reasonable, meanwhile, you could go shop at Iora (there’s this super nice grey dress BUT they’re out of sizes! ARGH! And then there’s Isetan…) but you’d probably feel very guilty and not want to eat your pizza/pasta after that. Hah!
The staff there is um… very blur… maybe they’re still very untrained… Anyway, I felt that some of the stuff that they did didn’t require training, it was more like common sense… First, they showed us to a table that was still dirty, cutlery not set AND probably seats still warm from the previous occupants’ butts. Then, they proceed to mess up your order… Best to just point to them, they mumble so much you can’t hear them properly (or maybe it’s just noisy over there), don’t even try ordering in Italian (since they named their food the Italian way), they won’t understand you.
Apart from that, no other complaints… your water gets refilled very promptly, and your bill just zooms to you before you can complete the ’signing bill action’.
Oh which reminds me…
The waiter came to our table, and hovered around a bit, and looked like he was going to place the bill in front of me! Aiyoooo… Who looks older, who looks richer… -_- ‘'’ Even if da-man not paying the bill also put it in front of him to give him the ILLUSION that people perceive that he’s ABLE to pay it mah…
