One of my ex-bosses, has coined a term - the “non-believer”, which he uses to describe any patient or relative who are of the tiresome sort, ie. those that ask you a hundred-and-one questions and despite loads of careful explanation, pictures and reiteration of operation risks, simply cannot get it in their heads the situation. Sigh.
And then, if anything does unfortunately go wrong, they simply give everyone hell. I’d rather not touch such patients at all.
